But 30-year-old Sunder Ramu is not asking the ladies to open their pursestrings and cover the cost of their food and drink because he is a cheapskate.
At the end of each month the fashion photographer and actor visits a different NGO and sponsors a meal for its residents using the money he has saved on food.
"I am just trying to play a small part," Ramu said.
"The money I have save as a result of ladies sponsoring my meals is used to sponsor meals for underprivileged children in some of the most impoverished areas."
Ramu has already wined and dined 110 women - his youngest date being a 21-year-old singer and the oldest being a woman who claims to be 105 years old.
“My date with a 105-year old grandma from a remote village past Pondicherry was very memorable and interesting," Ramu said.
"But I am just looking to explore a new phase of my life where I am bringing about some change."
Ramu, who lives in the south Indian city of Chennai, was moved after he saw a group of street children fighting for food - and resolved to do something about it.
And while the 365 dates project has given him the chance to sit down with an array of beautiful women, including famous Indian actresses and pop stars, Ramu - who is single - is adamant that he is not expecting to emerge with a partner.
"I do not have any agenda behind going out on these dates. I am not looking for a romantic relationship. It is not a playboy thing," he said.
"I think this is something that women understand and that is the reason they agree to be a part of it.
"Women can affect a lot of change. So all the women who sponsor the meal and go on a date with me are playing a huge part in this initiative where we are trying to help some children."
Ramu's dates have included Shreya Sharan, a leading south Indian Bollywood actress.
But the dates are not all glitz and glamour - Ramu has also sat down for a meal with a child suffering from eye cancer and a woman who collects garbage in his apartment building.
"It is was great fun. She cooked me a very simple meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so humbling," he said.
And Ramu's 'one day girlfriends', as he calls them, are united in praise for the prolific dater.
Freelance journalist Preeti Thomas, 26, said: “Our date was set at the Thiruporur Game Fishing Farm, in Chennai, for some inland angling and quiet time.
"He’s never been fishing before, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time."
Ramu is planning to write a book about his charity-minded dating adventures and is also working on a screenplay about the project.
