Alpine runner Sébastien Montaz-Rosset captured breathtaking footage of his favourite running spots in the French Alps.
The 40-year-old filmmaker, who lives in Sallanches, France, shared the spectacular views from his daring routes across the rugged and often snow-covered terrain.
The clips, taken by Sébastien in May and July this year, show scenes from the Mont Blanc region near his home.
Featuring Lac Blanc and the Varan Ridge, just outside the Chamonix valley, the footage shows the keen athlete pounding the terrain at heights of 2,000 to 2,500 metres.
Sébastien said: “I grew up in the mountains and have been climbing and doing mountain sports for as long as I can remember.
“There's always some risk in the mountains, but I've been running in places like this for a long time.
"I'm a mountain guide and have a lot of experience moving in the mountains.
“Spending time in the mountains is part of my life, it's a good way to clear my head and get some inspiration.”
