New York Bronx based creative, Sarah Rosado, 32, spends up to three hours arranging soil on her kitchen table to create these muddy masterpieces.
The quirky designs include a New York taxi, a curvaceous lady in a bikini and a trio of mischievous ants stealing some toast.
Self-taught artist and photographer Sarah can create up to three of the messy images a day.
She said: “The idea was inspired by online artists who created art using food and other items - I wanted to challenge myself to do something totally different.
“I create all my dirt pieces on my kitchen table - I chose the kitchen because I love how the sunlight shines through my window, which is where I get all my perfect shots.
“I start off by tossing the pile of dirt on the table and bringing it to life by carefully shaping it into the selected object - It’s a great medium as the dirt sways anywhere you take it.”
And Sarah insists that the dirty pictures are born out of her time, effort and skill.
She said: “I started this project two years ago and it has been quite an adventure creating these pieces, and I have definitely enjoyed myself.
“I had some sand and dirt that I collected at the park and decided that it was much easier to use the dirt because it was more manageable than sand.
“It’s not easy, it takes practice and having the artistic skill to draw is helpful in maximising the output of the image.”
