A small winged insect lands on a blue frog

But the tree frog appeared to have some difficulty as he struggled to pull himself up – and had to use his long legs to give his arms a well-earned rest.

The bizarre sighting was seen by photographer Lessy Sebastian in his garden in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The body-building tree frog is just one of the diverse wildlife found in Lessy’s house, which is also home to snails and lizards.

Lessy captured small blue tree frogs perched together on a stalk, and a cheeky baby snail hitching a lift by hitching on the back of its mother.

He said: “I found them when they are playing around in the garden.

“I have a particular interest in insects, reptiles and frogs which I have loved since childhood.

“Frogs are such a favourite subject in my photos that my friends call me the 'Frog Whisperer'.”
