At his heaviest, Eugene Warner, from Virginia, weighed 350lbs. He suffered from depression which caused weight gain over the years. But when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made his wrestling return back in 2011, Eugene was inspired by him and vowed to lose weight. Seven years later, he has lost an incredible 160lbs, weighing in at 190lbs, all while battling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Eugene admitted that he has never imagined losing as much weight as he did and said: “There were times when I'd wake up and I didn't feel like getting out of bed because I was so sick. There were days where I felt like I was going to give up and just quit like I did many times before. But I kept looking at myself in the mirror and telling myself that I had to make a change or I would probably die if I didn't. I am definitely proud of myself.” Today Eugene is stronger and healthier than ever and works as a personal trainer to help others.
